Additional packing materials beyond the estimated allowance may be charged at cost or according to the company's current material rate
- Full-Service Packing: The company will professionally pack the household contents included in the agreed inventory. Items that the customer does not want packed should be identified before packing begins.
- Fragile Items: Appropriate packing materials and protection will be used for ordinary household fragile items. Extremely valuable, irreplaceable or unusually delicate items should be disclosed in advance.
- Furniture Protection: Standard furniture will be protected with moving blankets, stretch wrap and other appropriate materials.
- Furniture Assembly: Standard household furniture disassembly and reassembly is included. Complex installations, wall mounting, plumbing, electrical work or specialty assembly are excluded unless separately agreed.
- Appliances: Movers may move standard household appliances where they are safely disconnected and ready for transport. Plumbing, gas, electrical and specialty appliance disconnection/reconnection is not included.
- Access & Parking: The customer is responsible for arranging elevator access, building permissions and parking arrangements where required.
- Specialty Items: Pianos, safes, pool tables, extremely heavy items, artwork requiring specialty crating, and other specialty items require prior disclosure and may carry additional charges.
- Customer Valuables: Cash, jewelry, passports, confidential documents, medication and other highly valuable or irreplaceable items should be transported personally by the customer.
- Inventory Changes: The quoted price is based on a 4-bedroom residence and approximately 100 boxes. A substantial increase in inventory may require a revised estimate.
- Customer Walkthrough: Upon completion, the customer and crew leader will conduct a final walkthrough to confirm furniture placement and identify any remaining agreed services.
- Payment: The outstanding balance is due upon completion unless alternative written payment arrangements have been approved.
- Cancellation / Rescheduling: Cancellation and rescheduling are subject to the company's applicable policy and availability of the requested new moving date.
